So who was disturbed till 3.30am nightly by this group of numpties then?

A deliberate aim at this site, group of 20 odd lads with own version of this sites logo & wearing similar black t shirts most of the time.

We were some 70m away so the campers nearer must have really suffered repeatedly.

I've put up with alot of noise on TR, indeed I find it all part of the fun but this lot took the biscuit.

I was on TR and can't say i noticed them, there were the usual slightly noisy groups but the sound systems and scaffold platforms usually indicate they are not going to be tucked up in bed at 11pm.
15 years on TR and i would say it was the quietest ever. If you think TR is noisy chances are you have never camped else where.

WE were at the ACO site - the most noise was from the motorway... mainly families in campers and motorhomes - not a gennie in sight - no noise whatsoever from the 'inmates'

and as I am a member of the ACO it cost me 47€ to camp - tent and car - and when I asked where I could camp - they said "where ever you fancy"

Can't say we noticed them, as a rule things are quieter at the Tetre Rouge corner end of the site, inmates wise as well as being further than the stage & fair

Cant be any worse than the wkers camped infront of us in houx this year, blasting out tunes and smoking weed until all hours.

Sometimes I think staying somewhere just outside of le mans and just attanding on the sat / sun is the best way to go. Far too many wkers around on all the campsites nowadays. Always the british as well

We stayed at Camping Les Molieres in Sille La Guillaume.

40 km from the circuit, so took us 35-40 mins each way, but is set in woodland near a lake and the campsite was pretty much deserted.

Total relaxation after a long day walking around the circuit, will be there again next year.

I couldn't bear camping at the circuit, sounds far too rowdy and is expensive too, we paid €16.50 a night, and that included extra for a spacious pitch.....!!!

We stayed at TR and they didn't keep us up.

The way I see it is us boys go to blow of a bit of steam once a year, if you want a quality nights sleep don't go to Le Mans!

Saw a couple of their flags flying around the track but saw or heard no OTT behaviour. As has been said, if you don't like it then don't go. We were at TL which is just opposite the TR site and got a great bit of kip!

Had some camping at mulsanne, 3-4 of them. Decided on Sunday to drag half the wood out of the forest and burn it along with pallets, sleeping bags and other stuff. Knobheads!

If you're going to Le Mans for a good nights sleep then you're doing it wrong.

Have not come across the group in the title - so no judgement on them from me.

There are various degrees of letting off steam and "boys will be boys". Much forgivable.

However, after 15 years - It's no longer a surprise to me that a notable contingent of Brits seem to fall into the "total w@&k3r" behavioural category.
Other nationalities have their share of pond life - but somehow we seem to excel at exporting ours for a week to Le Mans.

I posted in another thread about red wine being poured into cream leather interior convertibles, cars being deliberately damaged etc etc.
Somehow the main culprits seem to come from a large Island off the coast of France and Holland.

Makes you proud to be British.

Its nice to get some after about 3am though! The dheads opposite us were playing music until 6am the one morning. Shame they flattened their battery on the camper and none of us had jumpleads

We find it's always better to let them self destruct themselves on one night, then wake them up as early as poss. the next few days so they are wrecked... Along with having bacon etc.. for breakfast, then they wonder where they're going wrong...

We had some French next to us one year who were pumping out Euro techo drivel until well after dawn, after a major row with their fellow campers they slunk into their tents about 9.00 am, the ground-shaking fireworks started half an hour later. Not a squeak for the rest of the week.
