I imagine quite a few people saw a 'Racing Green' 1930's Blower Bentley on the way back to Calais on the Monday afternoon?

It had 'Classic Le Mans 2012 driven by Derek Bell' markings on the bonnet. (He wasn't driving this time though)

I first saw it at a fuel stop, then at a toll booth when it rolled up behind us later on ,it sounded like a we had been followed by a WW2 Spitfire:-)!

I think it may just beat the F40 we saw at the Somme service station for 'best road car sighting' we came across on the Thursday trip down..just maybe!

Roll on 2014...

This passed us on our way down, we were cruising steadily at 130kph and it comfortably passed us! Looks like an amazing way to travel down

Saw it in the car park at the channel tunnel on thurs morning.

Love the fact that Brian Johnson from ACDC drives one around LA all the time.

Was at the Aston do in Chartres on Friday as well. Such a piece of history, and I wasn't at all jealous when talking to the passenger for whom the car was his 'taxi to lunch'...... Git!

Yep, that's the one, mind you it was a much nicer and rain free day on Monday return!

I think a silver Dino and a white van also appeared to be in convoy with it. Guessing the white van had all the gear for both cars.

I was right behind him on the tunnel train. Had a good 1/2 hour chat. A very pleasant, down to earth and rich chap.

Followed him up the M20 and parted company at the M26. It was a very "spirited" drive. biggrin

Saw the car in the heavy rain in the north around the toll at Boulogne then again at Abbeville. Not the best vehicle for those conditions, felt a bit sorry for the chaps.

Then again on Sunday afternoon outside the Hotel De France on La Chartre-s-L, looked great.
