Just wondering if it was only us that were fooled by the Carrefour milk display....the milk bottles with the Red, Blue & Gold tops that turned out to be some yoghurt based milk that ruined a perfectly good cup of tea on Thursday morning, and of course we bought a couple as they were on offer !! Note to self, read small print on any bottles next year, or stick to beer for breakfast !

That's caught me out in the past too. I also bought mint tea by mistake once. That was upsetting.

We were tricked into buying 10 crates of Kronenbourg instead of 8 in Carrefour by the woman waiving red shades at us. However we had the last laugh when we managed to get two pairs off her. Lol

Having brought a nice bottle of spiced rum with us and drunk it all on the first night (whoops) bought some 'spiced rum' in carrefour. 2 years later 95% of it is still in the bottle at the back of my drinks cabinet...

Improvement made for this year: more rum.

Try it from the fridge and you'll be pleasantly surprised.


OK.. perhaps 'pleasantly' is pushing it.. Let's just say it goes from undrinkable to drinkable

It caught some of our group out as well. It was subsequently put to good use as a form of entertainment. I think there is a video on here of it infact.

Haha thanks for the tips guys! I shall attempt refrigeration as the first option. Luckily Gamay and Pinot Noir are often not bad at all when chilled so not sure why I didn't try this before

If you were drinking it at ambient whilst at LM it will have been pretty well chilled.
