Never been before, to any Le Mans, booked yesterday and excited as fooook! Booked to lap the circuit Saturday too.
Staying on the Pistonheads private camping and going out Friday 4th on the 08.30 Eurotunnel if anyone wants to join a little blat down.

We will be in these.....

Looks quite innocent but with nearly 300bhp...... :-)

This lived in a heated garage since 1979, of only 20-odd Lancia MonteCarlo's left on the road probably the best unrestored one in the UK, pretty much as it left the factory in '78. But we will be blowing any cobwebs out.

Should have nice black MO30 Porsche 944 turbo with us too.

Welcome - we too are on the Pistonheads site for CLM. My 4th time and looking forward to it as much as the first time!

We will have an E- Type 4.2 and a BMW z3m roadster with us

My brother had a X reg Monte Carlo a few years ago - one of the rare Mark two models in Black. Very unreliable!!

Will look out for you!

I'll be taking my '63 Riley 1.5 - it'll stick out like a sore thumb among the 40 or so pre-war Rileys that are going biggrin

Better get in quick Dave, the private camping will sell out soon and the crossings get full too. We booked through Pistonheads, but there are many tour operators. A mate in a 944 turbo booked in next pitch to us on Thursday, but ours is not the cheapest option of doing CLM, but it is civilised. Just be quick!!

You'll love the what I called the 'everyman/woman for themselves laps'. I did it in my Alpine A610 two years ago and would put it up with the best track experience in my life. Be careful because carnage does occur on the session I was on a french owner in a Mustang wrecked a Detasmo Pantera, a DB4 Aston Martin was trashed on the start finish line. There is nothing to compare to going down the Mulsanne Straight flat out. We are staying at the luxury tents (is that an oxymoron) at the Porsche Curves we go every two years without fail.

Getting the 10-11pm ferry from Newhaven on Wednesday (2nd), returning home Tuesday afternoon.

We're a bit of a mixture in our group; 1x TVR Wedge, 2x MX-5s, 1x Audi A4, 1x LR Discovery.

One and a half weeks to go bounce

First time doing any Le Mans event - booked it for my Dad's b'day in December.
Hopefully we will be heading down in a DB7 i6, if the engine rebuild is finished.. biggrin
If not, MK1 Mini 850..if we cure the overheating... smile
If that fails, A4 black edition avant frown

Fingers crossed for Aston or Mini!
