Just amended booking for this crossing and to quote the operator at Brittany, 'it's rammed!'. Should be re-named the Hangover Boat!

We're doing our normal cross country blast up to the beach at Blainville for lunch and something to defer the onset of scurvy before joining the throngs at Cherbourg, hopefully feeling a bit more chirpy by then smile

Yeah my gang of 6 are on-board that one... It's normally rammed full of Le Mans traffic with one or two very nervous looking normal people.

We are also on that one in our somewhat dimished but eclectic convoy

Look out for

Yellow 993 c2s with a silverish Lotus Evora, a Maserati Grantourismo and a Lotus elan M100. I'm in the Evora

... Our trio of cars plus motorbike are also on board this crossing, first time home via this route but fed up with the mad dash back to the tunnel

Its still a bit of a mad dash, takes longer than you think, plenty of Gendarmes enroute in the last couple of years

It's a breeze compared to Calais (and providing you live closer to Portsmouth of course!). We clear off the TL site by 10ish on Monday, head across to Fougeres and up towards the coast in time for lunch. Then an easy run up to Cherbourg.

See hardly any LM traffic on that route.

As for eclectic mixes, we've a Tiger kit car, a Seat Leon and a Jag STR making up our trio.
