Pretty much as the subject. We're off to the Classic in a couple of weeks on the LD Lines/DFDS Portsmouth - Lehavre ferry. The boat doesn't set off until 11pm so can anyone tell me if the bar is likely to be open or if we should make our own arrangements for a nightcap?

Thanks,
spanky

I'm not telling or you may get to it before I do.

Yes, the bar is open until around 3 a.m. If the driver needs to sleep, head for the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle lounge to Port or the Sir Angus Wilson lounge to starboard. Both are quiet lounges with low to nil lighting, so you have a chance of some sleep. Earplugs recommended though if you can wear them.

3am? In that case I suspect the bar will outlast us. We've got cabins booked so hopefully will get some sleep but thanks for the tip for a quiet area on the way back...
