We are staying at a friend's house nearby, I have my children on the trip, so I'm driving to the circuit each day.

For those with experience, is the official Mulsanne-Arnage car park any good please?

TIA

MULSANNE-ARNAGE

I bought one for the 24hrs this year. The ticketed car park for Arnage is right by the entry otherwise there is free parking 500M up the road. For Mulsanne, the parking ticket is definitely worth having as it's quite a yomp on foot from outside the ticket line if you don't have it.

For a measly 10€ I will get one every year.

Two LM Classics ago we parked without tickets at both Arnage and Mulsanne. They gave up checking at Arnage after dusk and parking appeared to be entirely informal at any time at Mulsanne.

At the last event two years ago, however, things were tougher but we sill got into Arnage after dark and were able to park on the roadside just outside the car park barrier (and in full view of the attendants) at Mulsanne.

This year I've decided that as the event gets more popular they're obviously tightening up on parking so I've bought tickets. As E36GUY says, for 10 euros it's not worth the hassle!

It's miles away from the rest of the circuit.
'Normal' parking for the circuit is Bleu, Blanc or Expo for example.
Mulsanne - Arnage parking is a supplementary ticket to use during the race to see some extra good viewing points without having to walk all the way down.
Not recommended if you are travelling to the circuit each day with children and you want to benefit from the main circuit viewing areas and activity.

Thanks all - it's for precisely the 'long walk' reason that I want the parking at M-Arnage - so the kids can enjoy those viewing areas and I'll drive to/from them at some point(s) over the weekend.
