Weather for next weeks Classic

Looked at two (see links) and both look a little 'iffy' for Saturday - probably not going to be a 'scorcher'

4 Years ago i was checking the weather and it was saying about 20 deg and thunderstorms likely all weekend, it was bright sunshine and 38C all weekend, 2 years ago the forecast was dry all weekend and it rained like mad at times and was OK the rest of the time, I guess it will do what it will do.

Two years ago it was terrible, wet and constant wind, the weather was pretty much the same.

I would have said that, particularly Friday, the weather was largely very good - just that the sunshine was interspersed with some brief but torrential downpours.>Martini...LB
Gav, from http://www.gavsweathervids.com/ has promised to do a video weather forecast today/tomorrow for le BOG Club and 7-DNA...
I'll post the link as soon as it's done.

Hello, I'm french and I'm watching weather on some websites since 2 days.
It's very difficult because every websites don't say the same (as usual in France)...
I remember 2 years ago weather was very bad, we had some moments with sun but not many... On track it was spectacular !!!
For this year temperatures isn't important for me but please, not rain !!!
Indeed it was a bit difficult with my Spitfire and the tent...

In 2012, we were 2 Caterham and 2 Spifire to go to Le Mans. At approximately 100 km before Le Mans there was a lot of rain (like never seen since some months in France), it was so much rain that Caterham were not able to continue this way !
Meteo France are the official FIA meteorologists for F1.
This is their link for Arnage forecast http://www.meteofrance.com/previsions-meteo-france...
Web-based weather like accuweather do not have their own meteorologists, their expertise is in web marketing. When it comes to weather giving people a positive (rather than necessarily accurate) forecast is a certain way to keep people coming back to your site.
Most weather information for France and the Eastern Atlantic is gathered by Meteo, even for the BBC or UK Met office. They also have a few tricks like if it will rain in the next hour. Very handy if a race is about to start, or you can't be bothered getting out of bed.
The words - Va-t-il pleuvoir dans l'heure à Arnage ? Are you friend. Details throughout the day can be found under - En savour plus, below the forecast
Take other forecasts with a pinch of salt. For the record we have thundery downpours at the moment.

Hi Lowdrag! Yep, we'll be using the Boul D'Or as normal.
We met the new owner last year - seems a nice chap!
How's he been settling in?
This year we are doing 'The Long Way Up', via Bilbao...
See: http://www.7-dna.com/forums/index.php?action=vthre...
D-roads all the way!!!

Oh, you may like our 'special' Classic shirts too...
