TVRCC Le mans tickets

Anyone know a reason why they have taken the backward step of only allowing bookings by post? Previously I've faxed them over, and confirmed the fax with a phone call, then I know I'm not going to have 12 angry members on my back if the form gets lost in our wonderfull postal service
But lets hope posting it yesterday afternoon gets it there in time for the spots we wanted

My guess is that it's so everyone gets the same chance of getting in the booking queue, as not everyone has access to a fax. That's why there's no internet booking either.

Besides which it means payment then comes along with the booking request which will make it far easier for them to manage.

Just had the call from the club office, and our 1st choice Grandstand was already sold out but managed to get our group in another one
Glad you got all sorted, which grandstand did you go for?

Team Langoustine still have grandstand seats at Sommer, Lagashe, Leonard and Maison Blanche left.
I'm not sure which to choose. Any Advise gladly received.

But best of all there is a great big telly, so if you're listening to Radio Le Mans you keep abreast of the race elsewhere on the track.
Was there in 2003 and really liked it, went for Maison Blanche this year and while it had a better view of the racing, the Ford chicanes and the pit entrance I found that not having the screen was a downer.

Well it depends what you want to see really

Sommer is opposite a large screen and the pits exit, Lagache is in the middle of the pits straight, not sure where Leonard is, and Maison Blanche is round by the Ford chicane

Scarey prices on that website, double the TVRCC prices

If it wasn't hard enough to get tickets, the order form in Sprint needs to be photocopied before you can fill it in. Unless you have some miracle pen that can write on shiny, near-laminated paper.
Given that a lot of the attendees are British, do you think we could claim squatters rights to the circuit and organise the camping ourselves for next year. We couldn't do any worse than the ACO.

'free girly stuff inside' - and that will persuade Alison or Linda to open your's first?!

That figures when I spoke to the office they said there was a big booking that had taken up nearly all the seats in the pit exit stand.
TBH I'm a bit pissed about that bit

Harry
PS I blame nick(ncs), I'll be round during the friday night to borrow yours

When is confirmation not really confirmation, when you get it from the TVRCC office it seems.
After telling me, and then me telling my group of 12 that we weren't in Sommer, but we were in Lagache instead I now get the paperwork and we're in Maison Blanche
I knew it was a mistake writing East Midlands Region group booking on the form, I should count myself lucky it didn't get 'lost' altogether
Speedchills next year for me I think
