Hi all,

Sadly wont be making the journey this year but might have time to pop in a quick jaunt for the Test Day in May, can't seem to find much information on tickets for that though, is it required and can you buy on the gate?

Cheers,

If you go i can say you will enjoy it, went last year and had a great day, you can either use the main race tickets or buy a day ticket, i think they are about 10 euro's at the gate last year

Thanks,

I assume its the same setup as the practise/qualifying sessions where all the grandstands are open?

Also how long does the day usually run for?

I went to testing last year and going again this year. In many ways it's better than race week as there's a lot less people and you can get a lot more up close and personal with the cars / drivers etc.

We've got media passes so we got in on those last year but you can get in with your general entry ticket. I do seem to remember that Saturday is press / teams only but Sunday is very much open to the public. To be fair there were loads of clear fans on the Saturday last year too so you should be fine. The ticket offices are open too so you can just turn up and buy. One thing on Saturday that's worth doing is the drivers vs media karting race down at the Alain Prost circuit, usually about 11.30 on Saturday morning.

Obviously none of the shops or anything are open so places to eat and drink are limited but it's very much well worth going to.

I'm really looking forward to it, only a month away!
