Just looked at the Motors TV schedule to find absolutely no Le mans coverage at all!
Having waited so long to get it on freeview I was looking forward to being able to watch the race properly for once rather than just using various teams onboard cameras on their websites.
Seeing as they show the WEC and Le mans Series and Tudor Sports Car series I can't believe they aren't showing Le mans. Or am I wrong in thinking that Motors ever showed Le Mans?

I don't think it has ever been on Motors TV. Eurosport will be showing it and it will be streaming here if you have a subscription.

Some teams will stream free live onboards for the majority of the race.

Have Eurosport ever done anything properly ? (I’ll give them Le Tour)
Not with motorsports, though their HD picture quality for Le Mans and Dakar is about the best out there. Disconnects and unscheduled channel hopping will be par for the course (for the build up shows as well as the actual race). We will all still need Radio Le Mans for commentary too, otherwise the regular repeats of the same adverts on Eurosport will drive people utterly nuts in far, far less than 24 hours.sirtyro said:
Just pay the £7.99 for the WEC app Le Mans race package. I paid £14.99 for the season and the first 2 rounds have been brilliant. Much better than the F1 app. I'm hoping they use the Radio Le Mans commentary feed for online as those guys do a much better job than the Eurosport guys.
Doesn't Eurosport now have some of the Radio Le Mans team providing their commentary for WEC races? I'm sure I was listening to Hindlaugh on the telly during the last race.Last year I had a computer next to the telly, had the Eurosport video feed on the telly and the RLM audio piped through the hifi. There was a few seconds discrepancy between the two, but not too much of a problem.

Motors were the first to show the full race, which pushed Eurosport into doing it proper;y
In 2004 Eurosport did actually show the race on Eurosport News when it wasn't on the main channel, so there was nearly continuous picture coverage. It went back to Eurosport after its stint on Motors TV as it was a condition of Peugeot entering WEC. They wanted coverage on a 'proper' channel.
If a post is correct on the Midweek Motorsport Collectives Facebook feed then Radio Le Mans is only available directly. It won't be available on any stream or TV channel.

Just been watching a programme on pagani on the quest channel which was followed by an advert for live le mans 24 hours coverage of the start then a highlights package during the race. Not sure of times etc but at least its something!!
Just came here to post that, I saw it as well. It seemed to suggest there was some live coverage, plus a highlights show later on.Just found this on the Quest channel listings:
Sat 13th June
14:30 - 16:30 live coverage of the race start
21:00 - 22:00 Highlights from the afternoon
Sunday 14th June
07:00- 08:00 Nighttime/morning highlights
14:00-15:30 Live coverage of race finish
not bad at all, sounds like quite a good little set of coverage

It was on Motors TV for just one year, then went back to Eurosport where it remains to this day. And these days they cover the full 24hours.
Yup. For the past couple of years Eurosport have covered the entire 24 hours (and more), and in HD.
Motors TV indeed had it for just one year a few years ago.

only real criticism of Eurosport coverage is (aside from the same adverts for 24 hours/more if watching practice) is too many interviews, often cutting away from track action at exactly the wrong time to conduct a pit lane interview with a driver who mishears the questions anyway.
That's very fair comment. Especially the (lack of) variety on the adverts.
