PistonHeads at Le Mans 2015 update
The race start is fast approaching, and today is the last day for merchandise too!

As many of you will now know, we have teamed up with the Classic British Welcome (CBW) for our Friday service on June 12. Held about 15 minutes away from Le Mans, CBW is a completely free festival to celebrate racing in Le Mans. Those who have signed up on our event calendar will be able to park in the PistonHeads area, which is within the show ground itself.
Once you've arrived you'll be treated to a goody bag courtesy of PH and some of our partners, as well as enjoying all the rest of the show to your heart's content. There was some concern when this partnership was officially announced that there might be issues getting past the 'gatekeeper' if your car wasn't up to his exacting standards. Well, we've had 100 per cent confirmation that if you arrive before 1000h and clearly display the PH windscreen badge (that will be emailed to you early next week) you will definitely be granted access.
However, PH and CBW kindly request that you stick to the spirit of the event and only enter the showground with your PH smiley if you're in a car which you're proud of. It doesn't have to be a supercar or a priceless classic, but please don't take up a space if you are planning on arriving in a rental car - remember that the PH Friday Service will be forming part of the display and as such the cars need to be PH-worthy! For those of you that park in the public area outside of the event, you'll still be able to come and mingle with like minded PHers and if you're really lucky we might even have a few spare goody bags!
For more information on the event visit the Classic British Welcome's website and to add your name to the reserves list on the calendar, please click here.
To buy your merchandise so you can be PH and proud, visit our online shop and order before the end of today to be guaranteed delivery
We look forward to seeing many of you at Le Mans!

Also, there's an Insignia on the list along with an X Trail, several blanks, some mopeds and a f
king Citroen Picasso so someone needs to do some 'pruning' I'd say...As I say, if you're proud of your car then come on in - and by this I mean you should feel welcome. Rental cars on the other hand would be best left in the public car parks... unless Hertz have given you something a bit special!

I'm on the list but am heading over on the Sunday so will not have access to a printer etc for the badge. Can we still get in?
Thanks,
In answer to the other comments - we'll have plenty of goodbags even if you're not on the list - just wander over and charm us!

Update, i've looked in the account area and I can't seem to change the email address, only the username.
Whatever happened to the spirit of the old days when we all used to just meet up at Arnage corner on Friday morning, have a wander and a bit of banter and off we all went on our merry way?
Why the need to make everything corporate?

(It might just be that you have had to walk slightly further than other people because you've parked in the public area instead of inside the event)
Hope to see you there
