Turning up without a campsite ticket.....

12 years on the bounce always had tickets but next year may be last minute.com without campsite tickets. The Houx non-numbered area is always half empty/full. Is it possible to get a ticket on the day ? Entry tickets I know are available but campsites ?

Houx and Houx Annexe are usually sold out weeks before the race. AFAIK in the last years only for the Beausejour campsite tickets were still available during race week

Why not just buy one..... and if you can't make it..... sell it ( without profiteering of course )

Camping tickets are not that expensive.

It did. I wouldn't risk it. Camping tickets are not exactly the most expensive things to lose money on if you can't go and if you book a good spot the chances are you'd be able to sell it.

It really depends on when you are likely to arrive, the ACO always seems to have a few returns early in the week but by friday not much if anything will be left, as suggested best to buy a ticket for your chosen site and then if you can't make it pass it on to someone else at cost. However with it being a classic year many people who usually camp will have to choose main or classic so that might reduce demand this year and so if you wait until you know then you may find tickets available quite late,
