Grandstands

I was able to buy an unwanted ACO grandstand ticket this past year, which was my first time in a grandstand at LM.

As I can't guarantee being able to get hold of one this year, can someone please tell me if the grandstands either side of the ACO one have bars in them? I'm assuming they do, but always good to check...

Fatboy, as always, is correct. There are plenty of bars immediately behind the grandstands along the outside of the pits straight.

Is there not a bar between a couple of the grandstands above the pits? With a balcony overlooking the straight? I remember it from around 2003, so maybe not there these days.

Think you are talking about the restaurant (which has a balcony) at the end of the Village just before the new Grandstand? Before that there used to be a Champagne bar with a grassy area next to the old ACO shop.

The OP was asking about the Grandstands on the outer part of the track (not Pit side)

As far as i am aware there are no bars other than the ACo one overlooking the pit straight on the outside of the track

The last time we were in the ACO tribune I remember that there's the official bar and then there was also another "temporary" bar/food facility in another part of the same tribune sited in one of the wide walkways.

We're in the ACO tribune for Le Mans Classic 2016 but that's too late to give experienced advice for LM 2016 of course.
