Looks like the ACO are building a new fan viewing area as part of the new road build to allow the public road to bypass Arnage corner

Sadly at the cost of no longer being able to drive the track there anymore, lets hope the viewing area is very very good as the road will be missed by many on sunday evening from now on!

According to the sketch map in the other thread, Indianapolis will still be public road for now. The new road will come off the circuit after Indianapolis and before Arnage. It's just the crossroads at Arnage corner they are eliminating. It will also help traffic circulation during the race, since the roundabout will remain open apart from having one exit closed off.

The place is a complete mess at the moment with all the soil behind the viewing hump at Arnage gone. Not quite sure just what the plan is.
