Yesterday the ACO finally signed for the purchase of the museum from the town council, who owned it. They have announced that this will, from here to 2023, form part of a new attraction mainly aimed at families which is designed to attract a further 200,000 people a year. It will stretch from the museum to the Alain Prost Karting circuit, but how wasn't stated. Will further camping be lost? Who knows.

The ACO'd better make a call to the Nürburgring and ask them how well the theme park worked for them....

Living just an hour away from the ring where the misery of this once great track regularly makes the headlines in the local media I can only second what vincegail wrote.

The A.C.O. should stick to their core competence: Organizing the races on the circuit.

They could expand the museum, make it more interactive, simulator track laps etc, add some motorbike stuff, hope the 'theme park' stuff doesn't amount to much more than that
