Hi guys
Considering going for my first pilgrimmage this year and have a few simple questions (apologies if these are simple, but i cant really find clear info on them)
- if i get the full €78 ticket, do i get to spend from tuesday all the way through sunday on the track complex including a camping spot?
- what facilities are on the campsites? I presume portable johns and no eletricity?
- presuming i stay longer then just the race, can you leave/re-enter the complex to do some shopping in nearby towns?
Thanks!

The General Entrance ticket doesn't cover camping, but will give you access to the circuit for the week.Vitorio said:

There is electricity on the Houx site, all the other sites will have a mixture of permanent and porta-cabin style toilets and showers.Vitorio said:

Yes, you can come and go as you please, there is a barcode on the tickets and they scan you (and your vehicle) in and out of the circuit and campsites.Hi.
Ticket is for entry to circuit only, ie no campsite, these are available seperatly. the good ones have probably sold out but can be found here, Club Arnarge or beer-mountain now and then. It will cover test day and from the Monday before the race.
Campsites vary, 1 or 2 have power all have stand-pipes for water and all have washing / WC facilities of some kind
You can go in and out of the circuit as many times as you like, just get your ticket scanned at the entry.
The Club-Arnarge Guide is a good read

Cool thanks!
I know the GA ticket doesnt cover camping, couldve worded that better
The only campsite still available looks to be beausejour (yellow zone), so ill have to take that i guess, no power is gonna be a bit of an annoyance i guess, but if i stock up on batteries and powerbanks i should be fine.

Garage Vert Campsite also provides electricity.I'll keep promoting my Garage Vert Campsite Tickets till I've sold them

Please look at the Ticket For Sale/Swap thread for further info.
Thank you,
Vince
This is my first year too and from what I've found, you won't be alone for long!
Have a look on the crossings thread to see where people are staying and book where there are a lot of PHer's (BSJ & Bleu Nord are particularly popular).
I am printing a PH flag to make it clear we're friendly campers... and also to find my camp plot after many beers
book on a train to Calais for Weds evening/Thurs morning and join one of the convoys with a few folks on the came site as you and life will be sorted.
Of course, I'm assuming you can have just as much fun on your own if you so wish!
Also... no more thinking about it, just book!!

Ill see if i can get a PH sticker on the car, that should signal me as friendly folk
I wont be joining any of the big UK convoys seeing how im from the netherlands, but i might see if i can join up with anyone from up here, sadly so far none of my mates have expressed any interest in joining me.

Depending on which day you intend travelling you will probably start to see stickered cars en route in Belgium.
Plenty of us travel over via Zeebrugge on Thursday morning as we live oop north and it saves driving down the UK.
Yeah, looking at the map i expect to start picking up fellow le-mans goers just after brugge in belgium and around Rouen in france (from the calais route)Plenty of us travel over via Zeebrugge on Thursday morning as we live oop north and it saves driving down the UK.
Dont know which day ill be travelling, part of me wants to be early to guarantee a good spot on BSJ (its a non numbered site), but tuesday/wednesday the program is pretty empty, i might just travel on wednesday and leave on monday.
There are massive numbers of Dutch fans heading down during the week some will use the Paris route others will use the Calais/Abbeville route so you will see plenty of them, you can always spot le maners as they tent to have not just stickers but nicer cars and are loaded up to the point of bursting with tents etc.
