Bicycle rental?
Discussion
Howdy - sorry I cannot recommend a rental shop, however you can buy cheap bicycles (under US$ 150) from Decathlon, then leave them behind or try and sell them to anyone with capacity to take them home.
The brakes are reversed compared to UK spec (left brake lever works front brake) other than that they're OK. I spent a little more on that on one four or five years ago and it's still in my garage at home.

I was in Mondovelo today, the one up north of Le Mans Auchan supermarket side, they had secondhand bikes for sale. Some fancy stuff at 1200€ but for you some old stuff at 50 + 70€ which would do for you, I assume. I would have thought that you would pay that sort of money for rental, and who knows the may buy them back when you have finished with them.
We have 2 "Pub" bikes ready to take down.... I build these up from old bike for some of my customers usually for the ride to the pub, leaving their cars behind.... better than taking your decent bike.... if they get nicked then nowt much lost...if I bring 'em home...Sold as Pub bikes here for £25... might be worth thinking about unless you haven't the space for a bike or bikes
