Hey Guys,

I'm terribly sorry for the (must be) re-post but I spent hours on this forum to find something I like so might worth to start fresh, I'm sure I'm not alone with this dilemma!

So after 4 years, this time I would like to take it easy (and piss my boss off) by leaving Thursday morning rather than my usual Friday night motorway blast. This is how I imagine it:

Beautiful French countryside, sunshine, top-down, coffee and croissant breaks along the lovey winding roads...

Any suggestions are very welcome!

Cheers,
Charlie san

Buy a Michelin map and look for the roads highlighted in green (scenic routes).

Not sure where you will be coming ashore, but once you are at Rouen then there is the old N138 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Route_nationale_138 ) all the way to LM.

Google Maps says it is now called the D438 (parallel with the main A28 autoroute so you can always hop on and off)

Start at Santander, drive a back route over the Pyrenees, avoid auto routes, its all scenic smile
