Already put my flask to one side for packing , I suspect that I'll be putting a generous slug of whisky in with the coffee for those late night wonders.
Bought a monocular a few days back, very handy for eyeing up tottyseeing what's going on in pit garages and so on and small enough to fit in a pocket thumbup

Well aside from food and drink I always carry a small first aid kit, cushion, thin waterproof, radio headset and batteries, wet wipes, spare batteries, shoe laces and a map/ spotters guide....oh and wallet/ phone. I'm self sufficient and never need to go back to the camp site then

This one's worked well for me in the past although not quite bag sized..............

Persuade your retired parents (any relative/chum will do) that the encumbent prime minister, in my case Messiah Blair, is a thief and about to take all their cash. The best thing to do is relocate to the safety of France, somewhere between your preferred Channel crossing point and Le Mans.

It works brilliantly for them and of course for me, it's like having my own personal rescue service less than 2 hours from the race smile
