Not that we can do anything about it, but would it be possible to have those arriving on site update this thread letting us know what to expect please? I foresee a lot of rain prior to the weekend, and some insight on conditions in the different campsites would be of use.

Thanks in advance.

All depends which site you're interested in. Just because someone tells you it's fine in Houx or Bleu doesn't mean you won't need a canoe on Beausjour.

How about anyone commenting on whatever site they are on...as a starter?

arriving wednesday on Bleu Nord, will post pics and update once installed and stealth beer in hand smile Usually drains ok and even when it was flooded one year we were moved without issue to reserve plots so if on BN, I wouldn't worry too much

There's quite a few posts on the Beermountain facebook page about the campsite conditions (if you are on facebook)

I am not there yet but I bet the toilets at the entrance opposite Bleu Nord are starting to smell...

they were good until Friday last year, then once the pi**heads had finished trashing them on Friday night they were a mess, broken seats etc etc.

Some of the pictures on the beermountain facebook group are showing pretty wet conditions on Beausejour and Houx Annexe, looking forward to arriving tomorrow and trying to find a dry spot

Fatboy is at Tetre Rouge in the Viper. Says it's been raining a lot and the car looks like a tractor currently!

Blue and MB will be fine since sandy soil which drains faster than you can blink. BSJ is clay based, so usually a quagmire. However, I toured it yesterday and it looked quite amazingly good in the main, but awful in others:-

Thanks for the pictures. Good to have an idea what it looks like.
I hope we will still get a decent place when we arrive on friday.

Forward party has landed at Houx, our normal pitches under the trees are a bit soft but ok with no standing water

There's rumours on facebook that BSJ is shut, it's water logged and the ACO have no alternative!

(don't shoot the messenger on this one)
