Be prepared for a wait...

Nothing going through the normal ticket barriers, all traffic being diverted into a holding area.

Hearing people saying they've been here for a couple of hours.

Arrived here half an hour ago and diverted to holding area - all very organised but told 3 hours to boarding.
Still - the sun is shining and there's some nice cars to look at ;-)

Feeling the pain for you guys, see the queues as we drove by to the ferry - where we drove straight on to an early one..

Ironically, we only booked the ferry because all the trains back we wanted were full. How lucky was that!!

Got there at 7.30 for the 9.50 train and only just made it. I only went on the train for speed and flexibility. Could have gone on the ferry for £65 and paid £178 fort that fiasco. Going out was pretty rubbish too.

We got delayed out of Le Mans for 2 hours, it took this time to leave Houx, despite us being in the vehicle just after 3pm. We were pushed out via Arnage.

We were in a Motorhome, so we were on track for a 5 hour journey back to the Terminal. Without stopping it took 4.5 hours, and we arrived right on our check in time. The issue was that the volume of traffic was high and they were funneling 4 lanes into one, exiting everyone and making them park up in a waiting area.

We were lucky and were pulled out of the queue and did not have to wait in the main area, we still were delayed an hour, and got on a 22:50 train.

Delays this morning as well... not quite as bad as last night though.

Some of our lads are trying to come back now - neither tunnel nor ferry looking promising, delays up to 7 hours!

Sorry did I say 7 hours, Eurotunnel now reporting 4 hours just to check-in, then a further 4 hours to buy duty free!

We arrived at the tunnel around 12:30 and got a train just past 18:00. My friend had more luck, he had a flexipass ticket and went straight through and got home before we got a train.
