Rouen Tunnel

Anyone else notice that they closed one lane into the tunnel on Monday with no road works etc? Seems like it was done to prevent any shenanigans....

When we drove past there were a couple of guys fiddling with some electrics.

Don't think it was anything to do with LM, usual lack of foresight regarding a busy travel day in an already busy town.

they were fitting a cable along the tunnel side... but it was a pain

we were sat in the traffic in our Mustang - wife says "Rev it" I say no, i dont want to be a dick! 2 seconds later the noise from VXRs, Astons, a Noble, Jags etc was epic - so i joined in - amazing noise!!

Saved 40 minutes each way by going the next bridge down...

indeed - the 1 lane thing worked quite well, 0-60 about 5 times for me in the M3

Embarrassed to say I was the Noble. Childish perhaps but it was great fun. And a nice break from all the rain. There was a Corvette in the mix too.
