Camped there since the start of time

Rumour on the street is its not going to be a camp site much longer

Lots of corporate stuff there this year about 1/4 of the usual amount of campers there

Any ideas?

Has been said a few times but the ACO are in danger of killing this event if they let any more corporate entertainment supplant actual genuine fans.

Our ticket agent has given us the strongest warning yet that they may not be able to supply MB tickets for next year.

Corporate entertainment pays more per m2 of space than camping. And that in turn keeps ticket prices down. I suspect that with 263,000 people attending (a record number) the loss of a single campsite won't kill the event. People have probably been saying similar things since the 1950s...

It's annoying that the stick all these things right on the track though - there were a couple of Red Bull bars in containers with viewing platforms above - placed right next to the track; if they set them back a bit then walking punters could still see the track in front.

Also if they cut the lower limbs of the trees back a bit at Tetre Rouge I wouldn't have smacked my head on a bd branch... twice.

Agreed. The ACO know exactly which side their bread is buttered on. Displacing a few campers in favour of corporate cash won't harm them in the slightest.
