Camping for the first time at blue nord, aiming to arrive by midday Wednesday, have a 7mx5m pitch booked and hoping to use my awning but the only problem is that with the guy ropes it may extend maybe a foot beyond my pitch, my question is, how strict are they regarding this, the next question is, is the site flat or do I need levellers for the van?

The site is very flat, no worries there. But you'd be encroaching on someone else's pitch by going over the boundary to the side or back, some may be ok with that, others not so much.

I personally wouldn't encroach without asking the neighbour if it's alright first.

The front is generally ok though.

A lot of the time if the neighbour has a tent on the boundary as well the guide ropes can cross over each other but it makes it difficult if you have to cut through there after a few beers biggrin

It's flat but there are a few rocks so take a hammer!

Beers are the best form of diplomacy.
