What is the best source for classic tickets? The ACO website implies that membership is required for grandstand tickets? Is that correct or can I get them from an alternative source?

Most of the usual ticket agencies will sell you tickets for the ACO grandstand, but obviously at a premium over other stands.

We use 'Just Tickets' but other firms are available.

You can buy most grandstand tickets direct from ACO, they do have ACO members only stands and availability on ACO site mat be very limited as loads of tickets out with various agencies. Haven't looked at Classic grandstands this year though.

Best and cheapest to buy tickets through ACO,
you, i think, have to be a member of the ACO to buy ACO grandstand tickets ,but can buy tickets for the other grandstands for non members

Good information here. Is this event as popular (ie. crowded) as the 24 hour itself? Also, if you buy the supplement for Arnage and Mulsanne, how do you get around to there from the main grandstands? What ferries is anyone using?

Not as crowded but grandstands full for a couple of hours before and after start. Only done it camping off site and some big jams coming on Friday and Saturday. Need to get in reasonable time as car parks can get full even if you have tickets.

Have usually gone to Mulsanne for 11pm on Saturday night til about 1am for late 50s and 60s and early 70s cars - not that busy and have parked OK and walked up.

Its a big car show on Friday at Bugatti circuit, great to see paddocks that day and some of the racing early on and into Saturday morning (just) and early Saturday has Group C and parade laps.

Sunday a bit dull and all main shops shut, the pedal car kids thing before late race start on Saturday is painful. If there's a bit of rain most of the 45 mins sessions for each period of cars can just turn into safety car laps and/or an early red flag.

We're on the 06:50 Eurotunnel crossing Thursday to hook up with this convoy:

nowhere near as crowded as main Le Mans, but getting busier every time its on,
getting around by your car is easiest, and i think if you have a general admission ticket you can get into Arnage and Mulsanne with that

grandstands are busy for the start and finish, but easy enough to access the rest of the time

paddocks are great, some great cars to be seen, all the car clubs are worth a look ,some very nice tackle in those

all in all,in my humble opinion ,its a good meeting and well worth going
