Epinettes - Le Mans Classic

We are on Epinettes for LM Classic, there doesn't seem to be much on here since if was first established a few years ago. Any recent campers got any reports, views, advice please?

We normally go to the main race and stay on Garage Vert. First time to the Classic and Epinettes this year.

Ahoy.

We are in Epinettes for the Classic and also for the 24hrs.

We first went there a couple of year's ago when we couldn't get Houx tickets, but have gone there in preference to Houx ever since.

It is only a couple of minutes extra walk from the road exit of Houx. There is limited electricity (daisy chained from the toilet/shower blocks).

Plenty of trees for shade, plenty of toilets and showers - seems a better ratio of bogs to campers than Houx (and no 'passers by' to use them either).

We’ve used Epinettes every year for the 24hr event since it opened.

It’s conveniently located, clean, tidy, secure and relatively subdued compared to the other sites. Hot showers & toilets are clean with queuing minimal. We’ve never had an issue.

First time to the Classic for us too and also staying on Epinettes.

If you are arriving on Thursday for the Classic you'll be amongst the first there.

Whenever you arrive you should be able to link in with your neighbours for power.

I can’t remember there being many electrical hook-ups at all... some friends are there next week, so I’ll get a heads up and let you know.

We normally stop at Carrefour prior to the campsite, but reckon I’ll be struggling for space in the car, so might well set up camp and then head into town to stock up afterwards.

Getting excited now!
