Received this yesterday, reduced annual charges via this promotion.

I have had one for about 7 years, so cannot take part in this promotion, always good for saving time and no faffing about with queues, cards or finding a few Euros to put into a machine.

I borrowed a colleague's tag last year but got one at the Eurotunnel promotional price for this year.

As said, quicker and less faff.

Just paid (April) the three quid annual fee by DD.
A huge benefit when driving single handed in a small British car
No messing about trying to reach the high payment windows, highly recommended

Is it worth getting one of these ( not on this promotion as I’m going Brittany ferries) if I’m only doing caan to Le Mans and back and doubt if I’m going back to France this year?

If I was going from Caen to Le Mans I wouldn't go on the autoroute at all. The French N roads are very good and the scenery is a lot better when you're in it rather than thrashing down a soulless autoroute.

Just my view.

Used the toll tag for first time this year. They worked really well and saved time at the toll booths.
Does anyone have any tips on removing the bracket from the screen? The adhesive seems to be super strong...

Warm up with a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive.

First time using the toll tag and massively impressed - it just works and takes all the stress out of piloting a RHD car alone through France. Very recommended! smile

Cheers, signed up today using an old Eurotunnel booking confirmation number.

An added advantage, you don't scuff your pristine wheels when your passenger has the reach of a 5-year-old!!
