Loads of people complaining today. People who have had pit passes downgraded and so on down the line. I was outright refused any pass this year after 20 years. The rumours in the paddock are that 300 high level passes have been issued to Alonso for his mates. A bit like Huge Rant at F1 it seems.
It's been building for a while and will only get worse.
Numbers / web clicks are the new King's metric that we all have to bow to. There were >1300 accreditation requests for this year and lots of people have missed out, a WEC season pass does not guarantee a place at the table either. WEC/ACO have a plan for their media coverage and this is the start of it.
I find the ELMS to be a far far better place to work.
