Dutray Clock

I hope this is the right place for this... a few years back someone on one if the Porsche forums made a clock fave to match the old Dutray clock at Le Mans. They were put onto an Ikea clock. I always fancied one on a decent sized clock but never got around to it.

So this year I got a chap to make me a vector file of the original clock in a photo then found a Next clock that wasn’t working off gumtree.

I got my mate to print the vector file in vinyl then nervously stuck it on after spraying the clock black.

Got a new mechanism and cut a set of new hands to shape/size and it was done. I’m pretty happy with it and it’s s nice bit of Le Mans stuff in the house that my wife is happy about!
