I am heading to LeMans this year with my 15yr old son. Most campsites are full and looks like I have a choice of buying a ticket for one these sites. Keen to avoid any pitch battles, excessive partying and general rioting and looting if possible smile

Any advice appreciated as we'll be on the 13:20 Eurotunnel arriving early evening on the Friday so need a numbered plot to avoid any hassle on arrival.

If anyone has a spare camping ticket or space for a car and one 2 man tent do let me know!

Also let me know if you are up for a convoy if you are heading over at the same time..we'll be in a S550 Roush RS3 Mustang.

You could always see if Brian at 1st Tickets has any pitches left on the PH Bleu Nord site? - it's a fenced/secure site with allocated pitches, clean wash facilities & a large marquee so you can either camp & cook yourself or mix it with having cooked breakfasts etc. depending on how you feel. I've a friend travelling on Friday afternoon via the Tunnel though he'll be slightly later than you otherwise I'm sure he'd convoy down with you. Also, if you've any camping problems, Brian offers pre-erected tents on Bleu Nord (if you're averse to putting up a tent like I am) so they've always got spare kit if necessary (you just need to know who to ask wink )

As an 8 time Houx Annexe frequenter I would look elsewhere for a quieter pitch! Fires, fireworks, all night raves etc are commonplace. It's one of the reasons we are leaving straight after the race this year as Sunday night tends to be the worst.

Unfortunately we only have 2 pitches this year - last year we had about 3 spare!

Agree with the PH site suggestion.
