Morgan is the Theme at the Classic British Welcome
Discussion
To celebrate the 110th Anniversary of the Morgan Car Company, the St Saturnin Classic British Welcome has selected Morgan as the theme for the 19th edition of the event . . .. Friday 14th June 2019.
We have a free Park & Ride (c/o BMW Le Mans) and as usual there is live music, exhibitions, food and drink . .. and of course over 1000 Classic and Sports cars at the site for this COMPLETELY FREE event. . . . 9 am to 5 pm. The village of St Saturnin (72650) is around 15-20 minutes North of the Circuit.
If you are a Morgan owner, then we have spaces in two Parades/Cavalcades for you and a reserved area for you before 10.30 am.
Please contact us via our new website (www.classicbw.org) if you have any questions or want to know more, and you can also download our programme to get directions and event site information.
Piston Heads will have their own area for the forth year, and we look forward to seeing you with your fantastic cars at this unique event.
Thank you for your support.

They celebrated their 100th anniversary too. The only other marks to repeat so quickly were Porsche and Jaguar (if you count E-type theme as Jag).
Personally I wasn't excited to see Morgan was being repeated, especially after Marcos last year (another make I consider to be a niche market).

Going to this for the first time this year.
My mate reckons I'll be directed to the "show area" being in my 2007 XKR ?!? Is that likely?
I've no problem going to the park and ride.
Reason for asking is because the other 2 cars in our group will have to go the Park & Ride, just wondering if we're likely to be in different parking areas

To be honest the cars allowed in are a bit of a lottery, depends on space and if person directing knows anything about cars. main show rings are reserved for more interesting cars but modern cars often directed to the far parts of the show area's. Getting out of those can be a long job once it gets full.

Really glad you mentioned this, thank you. We're aiming to get there early afternoon, to be there for about 90 mins max.I'll use the park and ride as I really don't want to be stuck in one place.
It'll be a few years before anyone feels the need to see a 2007 XKR as an interesting and rare motor!!!

I suggest if your friends aren’t PH members, that they sign up & get their names on the list for the PH section of the event (where you need to show a PH sign for entry) as it will hopefully help them get in with their cars (if they are broadly PH friendly My mate reckons I'll be directed to the "show area" being in my 2007 XKR ?!? ).Hi guys, Yes if you have the PH logo in your windscreen, the XKR will get access to the site.
Getting in after 2pm should be easier and much easier than at around 10am.
If you prefer the Park and Ride (FREE) then the location is on our website (classicbw.org) and we will shuttle you to and from the site.
Any questions, please drop us a message via the 'contact us' on the website and the English version comes directly to me.
Hope to see you in a couple of weeks

If you have your name on the PH list for the CBW, they will email you in the week leading to the event & you print off the relevant sheet with the PH logo etc to show/put on your dashboard. You might have to be a little ignorant & ignore the marshals though you should hopefully all get in.Will the Passatt and GTI get in that way too? No drama if not
