Le Mans 2019 Eurotunnel Convoy
Discussion
Anyone fancy joining us for the drive down to Le Mans this year?
Date: Thursday 13th June, 2019.
Meeting point: Area Somme Bay Service, 80970 Sailly-Flibeaucourt, France, located on the E402/A16, just north of Abbeville and one hour from Calais.
Depart Services: 11:45am local time
Arrive Le Mans: 5:45pm
Total driving time from the services will be five hours, with a one hour break for food, toilets and fuel.
The route will be predominantly rural D-roads and away from the usual routes to avoid attention.
For those who’ve joined us before, I won’t be planning this one to the same level as previous trips... I’ll provide printed directions and maps on the day, but that’ll be it.
If you have any questions, post them here or if you prefer, PM me.
POST EDITED - Departure time now 11:45am local time.

We'd also very much like to join you but not sure if we'd be able to keep up in the bus
You’ll be fine. Previously we’ve used bumpy, narrow B-type roads; this year they’ll be wider, smoother, faster. The Steve said:
We're heading down that day and would love to tag along. Exige 380, exige 260, VX220 and support car S5
Nice! Looks like we’re going to have quite a few Brit sports cars for the trip.eastsider said:
