Just seen this on lemans.org

  • 6 car parks free of charge from Wednesday 12 June to Sunday 16 June: Actisud, M1, Bleu, Fresne, Raineries*, Héronnière (subject to space available when you arrive) *free shuttle service
  • Expo car park: free of charge on Wednesday 12 June and Thursday 13 June – ticket compulsory from Friday 14 June onwards
I’m guessing this isn’t new, but I didn’t know it before! I usually camp at the Porsche Curves end of the circuit and had no idea I could park for free in Bleu for the Pit Walk on Friday. This will save some precious minutes on a packed schedule biggrin

I always buy a parking green ticket and simply pop up for the pit walk on Friday. We quite often use it for going up for the start. Pile into one car, leave it and walk back and collect it another time when not pissed.

Where is Bleu parking ? We need to drive to the pitlane walkabout because we are driving to Arnage and St Saturnin afterwards.

EDIT - found it, and Parking BLANC seems to suit what we need better. Does anyone know is this likely to be an easy option at 10am on Friday morning?

Parking Blanc is first available for ACO members and then non members can reserve and pay in advance via ACO. You get a numbered space so you can go in and out knowing you'll be back in your space.

Camping is not permitted in Parking Blanc and those that try will block access to the parking rows and get the finger from the carpark marshalls.

It is a challenge to exit Parking Blanc immediately after the race finishes so we always allow a 2 hour cooling off period before heading off. If you need a quick getaway then you will need to leave maybe 30 minutes before the race ends.

Traffic will be fine on Friday morning but Blanc isn't a free one. Watch out for knobs inciting burnouts later in the day though.

Guy - I've used Rouge before but it's a bit of a walk down the hill!

Thank you both for the info on Blanc.
We just need to park somewhere for 2 hrs on Friday morning for the pitlane walkabout and the museum, nothing else
