Just been reading a thread on lots of people recieving fines through the post for speeding during the ski season so thought it might be worth posting a reminder that the national speed limit on 2-lane roads dropped from 90KPH to 80KPH in July last year, making this the first Le Mans run with the new limits.

Motorways/dual carriageways still 110 wet/130 dry.

Always been a little concerned with the wet / dry limits on motorways. What defines a "wet" limit?

I always thought it as "wipers on = wet, wipers off = dry"?

If M.Gendarme says it’s wet it’s wet is the true definition!

That said I’m fairly sure I’ve read that it’s rain/precipitation that matters and not just a damp road so to speak.
