Hello everyone!
Anyone recommend a decent restaurant for lunch on or near the A16?

General advice is south of Rouen get off the autoroute and stop at a town off the old road. Gace, Sees mentioned often. Search there are lots of threads on this.

Hotel Au Normandy in Seés is both popular and excellent; ancient building, great food and you often see famous faces on their own pilgrimage to Le Mans

This can usually be picked up whilst paying for fuel. It's far better than you'd expect (being a motorway service station sandwich), not particularly messy and will get you trackside 2-3hrs quicker

We go via st malo ferry and stop at Fougeres ... coffee in the square with croissants .. pick up some french bread from the bakers, cherries and veg from the greengrocer, meat from butchers use the ‘facilities’ in the cafe and head off and get to the circuit ASAP, pitch tents and drink beers.

Seriously it’s a good stop off point
