The ACO went on the cheap this year and has probably purchased their bracelets with the same supplier as the turns-black-in-the-sun-tickets from a few years back.
Got my bracelet sunday at the the testday, and yesterday evening it gave up on me. mad
Bracelets from previous years still going strong smile

Anyone know an e-mail address from the ACO to which I can send these pictures, make a complaint and ask for a new bracelet?

what is the advantage of wearing one? I know being a member gets cheaper tickets, but during the race week?

It will get you into the member's areas (eg. back of the ACO stand), easier to dish out wristbands rather than get people to wave a membership card (that could be passed around multiple people).

You can get into the ACO enclosures, eg. the one near Dunlop or the ACO grandstands 17 and 18 (not the grandstands themselves, but the café, loos and showers) for a different point of view of the track.

When you visit the ACO unit near the dunlop you get the wrist band, a programme and a pack with poster stickers etc

why the hell would you wear the ones from the previous years? the same as these people who don't take of the festival bracelets and wear a friendship bracelet after coming off of holiday

there's no arguing about taste ?

surely wearing 4 year old bits of cloth on your wrist isn't tasteful though ?

if you'd actually done something like a marathon or ironman i get why you'd maybe want to celebrate it due to the months of training you've in but driving to france to watch a sporting event ?
