Whilst I think the trailer for the 'official' Le Mans 24 movie available to purchase in November looks great....... (google if you've not seen it).....

Personally, I think the trailer for our short film (Team Big Coq of Camping Houx since about the year 2000)....

Looks way more appealing.......
Le Mans 24 - 2019 - Big Coq Racing Trailer

Just for fun, not for profit

Filmed in 2019, the feature follows a group of racing enthusiasts who have been attending the grand event in some cases for over 20 years.

Whilst as a group, Big Coq Racing have been producing movies of the event for many years, this year we've produced a sub half hour version of the film to share with anyone willing to watch it, covering snippets of the journey, camping and racing experience.

This is a wee trailer of said film.

Unlike other "this is how to do Le Mans" movies you may have seen in the past, this one isn't as shaky as the Blair witch project and has actually been subject to some editing and features no selfie type commentary.

Only 8 months to go till LM2020......

Vid looks great, thanks for sharing.

Planning a trip for 10 cars next year, dads with kids.

Did it in 2005 on a random campsite with plenty warm meat and warm beer! Any tips on where we should book or who with?

Thanks

Thanks! the 'extended cut' e.g. the version with private jokes that to most folk would be like watching someones holiday photos is over an hour, but I made a half hour cut down version to put on YouTube in a few weeks once I've finished editing.

As for camping, other than one year in Maison thingy, and one year at the off-site "Le Bounty" (due to ticket problems) I've always stayed in Houx - it's loud, mad, and used to be full of sports cars, but these days, mostly full of camper vans....... which is understandable, but just not the same!

Tickets, I am not involved in, a friend gets them, and we all pay him - but they're through a broker or some kind, it is big bucks, but there's no place like it..........
