I wonder if the ‘no glass’ rule will continue to be confused by some security as meaning ‘no alcohol’ allowed in.
Our work around to avoid nonsense on the gates has been to get a box of wine. Take the bag out of the box and mix it in with the rest of the lunch stuff in the rucksack. Seems to avoid issues as they’re just focused on bottles.
Seen others having cans of lager confiscated with security pointing at the ‘no glass’ sign but saying ‘no alcohol’ to them.

As ever it will vary wildly depending on who you encounter and what mood they’re in, I always find it best to aim for dopey looking students if possible, I’ve driven through the main gates with even a ticket or camping pass check before now, just got a shrug.Our work around to avoid nonsense on the gates has been to get a box of wine. It says here you can use roller skates. Wonder how you get them past the gate as it quite clearly shows no roller skates?

The image is of a inline skate/rollerblade. Therefore, rollerskates are acceptable provided they have a wheel at each corner.From ACO website under Information…..
