We usually have the Radio Le Mans previews playing. Although there is one fewer class this year, so might run out of chunter by Alencon.

This is a work in progress:

Cannonball - Ray Stephens (from the film)
On Days Like These - Matt Monroe (from The Italian Job)
From Russia With Love - Matt Monroe (just because I like Matt Monroe)
Thunderball - Tom Jones (continuing the Bond theme)
Danke Schoen - Wayne Newton (from Ferris Bueller's Day Off)
Twist and Shout - The Beatles (from Ferris Bueller's Day Off)
Drive My Car - The Beatles
The Impossible Dream - Andy Williams (from the classic Honda advert).

Almost certainly my own recorded music (i.e. made myself) in the main part. Other than that, probably some Peter Hook & The Light.

It has to start with The Boys are Back in Town (Thin Lizzie), moving through Built for Comfort (Howlin Wolf) and Beck's Bolero etc to The Whisky Bar Song (The Doors/Bertolt Brecht)

I use Spotify quite a bit so like the personifies playlists they offer…plenty of UFO, Thin Lizzy, Stranglers, Pistols, Floyd, 19th Century French organ music and I’ll add a few Gregorian chants in the mornings……but absolutely no Mika what so ever

There must be someone driving down with a cassette deck (extra points for having a tape of songs recorded off the radio), or even an 8-track.

Flat-6 by the CarreraS
200Cel Cats by the CarreraS
PSE Open by the CarreraS
Windows Open in the Tunnel by the French Gendarmes

And if its raining and we have to close the windows, we will resort to essential Massive Attack, Paul Weller and Foo Fighters playlists (or similar)

We have a choice this year. 6 cd changer and a tape player. How posh?
May have to dig out some old cassettes from the loft.
None of my cars are new enough to play anything from my phone.

Can you still get those cassettes with the 3.5mm fly lead you can plug in?

Oh yes you can - and bluetoot versions
