Morning all..

How accessible is the full circuit on Friday? I would really like to cycle the full lap, but not sure if access to some of the circuit is limited.

Has anyone done it?

I believe it will happen Friday afternoon as per the last couple of years after the 2 morning support races. You can go right round the circuit albeit a couple of ticket showing points approaching the start/finish and at the top of the Milland. These spoil the flow a little bit

Well worth doing though. The pits are heaving. They normally have the trophy on display at the Dunlop bridge. The swoop down from Dunlop to Terry rouge is great if like me you prefer cycling down hill. Craft beer place (circuit de la biere) on the straight will be open and then the mulsanne corner car show where they will be lined up half way to Indianapolis

Oh cycling down hill is definitely favoured, I am definitely no climber..

Sounds like should be possible then, but must remember to take my ticket with me for full access..

It's all changed since then. Access is from 3pm now, as there is some cars on track before then.

Access at 3pm - loads of people walking, jogging, cycling and buzzing along on scooters. Car show at Mulsanne en route and you can go all the way with no breaks. flat pretty much all the way too- only Dunlop bridge is any sort of climb.

They do take an age to open track after a couple of races.

Are there any/many access/exit points between pits and Mulsanne corner?

Which is a bit of a worry, as the temperature if looking to be "toasty" on Friday.

Quite toasty today - now at Circuit de La Bierre and a bit cooler

Hot as hell at Tertre Rouge at 3.55 queuing for 15 mins for a ticket scan from about 4 or 5 Marshalls scanning tickets on phones in bright sun!

To anyone who saw us on track today, depending on where you saw us. We started the track walk on Porsche curves with two RC cars, my Cupra R failed, firstly went backwards into a barrier and cracked the bumper, then the screw came out the servo so lost all steering.

Thankfully my lads Laguna fared better and managed to make it most of the way round before they closed the track off for the walk.
Lots of people loving the Laguna, especially the locals.
Spoke to quite a few people on the way round, so if you were one of them, hi again and nice chatting.

Think we saw you on Mulsanne with one going towards Tertre Rouge.

Pain getting on as Marshall opened gate at Karting for 30 seconds then locked it and Road off on bike. So 15 mins walking inside track. PITA at Tertre Rouge wasting 25 mins (it’s advertised as track open to public but why check tickets on track - why not just at entry ti village and pits).

Could have got seriously stuffed at Arnage at 6.50pm as had to speak to 5 or 6 police to get through last bit back to Porsche Curves,

Great event and really enjoyed it

But officials and police can really screw it up and leave you in middle of nowhere after a long walk in 30 deg plus heat
