Some more stickers info needed!

can somebody just give me like a run down of how the best way to apply them is, and what the best way to get them off is?

just that i had some other stickers on me car before, and needed some bloody strong stuff to get them off, just dont wanna put some stickers on my car for a while to have them permanently glued to the damn thing!

I had mine on for the weekend only. They went on on Thursday night and were off on Monday.

Talking to a guy I happened to see doing a van he suggested a mildly soapy water spray to position the stickers and then squeegy them dry. Soap stops the water beading and hence the sticker not sticking to the dry bits. But theres always differing opinions on application.

Taking them off is easy. We got lucky that it was still really hot in Wales on the way home. Once the sun heated the car up, the glue is soft, and they peeled right off. Turned the car around and did the other side the same way, as the cold stickers in the shade were proving tougher. Most people suggest a hairdryer if there's a problem, being careful not to damage the paint I would assume at the same time.

I had only one 6" patch of residue from one of the stripes which came off with a soapy cloth and a stiff rub.


Any suggestions for this year? I'm thinking of going a little nuts. Will have a new shape estate by then.
