Just looking to book for my 2nd time at Le-mans and was just wondering where I book the tikets?

Last year I went through travel destinations but this year I will be doing it all myself to save money. So where do I get camping tickets and entry tickets - perhaps grandstand tickets also?

I will probably be booking the ferry through speed ferries, is the thursday morning one @ 7:45 the ferry of choice again?

Download the 2005 booking form from www.lemans.org and then edit it to say 2006 and fill it out with what you want. Email it to them, they will post you a letter saying they've received your order and will then let you know in the New Year what you will be getting and give you 30days to pay.

Good advice above.

Also you'll probably only get Beausejour if you're booking now so don't lose sleep over which camping you request!!

You don't need to buy general admittance tickets in advance although you will need them before you can get into some of the "inside" camp sites like MB.

Not sure about grandstands - I wonder whether it's possible to get them from the ACO now or whether they will have sold out? Unfortunately I don't think that they will tell you this as they haven't allocated tickets yet. Might be better off with one of the travel co's if you REALLY want a grandstand tix.

I have downloaded the booking form however I do not have the technology to fill it in and then be able to email it over, do you think they will accept an email with the same information on but not on the booking form? If not I will fax it over to them.

I will probably ask for Houx annex or Beausejour anyway? Are these both decent places?

Try Team Langoustine

Speak to Andy or Pete. Even if you don't buy places from them, they will give you some good advise. They are real lemans freaks.

I was in BJ last year, my first time too. Seemed grand, by all accounts a bit quieter than the other sites.

Faxing the form back to the ACO is fine. I think that's what most people do anyway.

I've not been on either HA or BSJ. Do a search on some of the old threads, I'm sure there have been a number that talk about the pros and cons of different campsites.

I emailed them the details required and received my letter through the post yesterday! So now need to wait and see where I end up!
