info on friday please

Hi all,

I've been to Le Mans a couple of times before but always travelled down on Friday and once there opened beer, put tent up, lit bbq etc...

However this year we are going Thursday so will be able to drink even more beer, watch final qualifying, visit the pitlane and go into the towncentre for the Friday evening parade / beers.

I'm sure I've read somewhere on here about a gathering pistonheads and their cars on the Friday morning. Anyone know where & when?

Just cruse around and head past the main entrance towards Arnage, take aleft to Indianapolise, then on to the Muslanne roundabout, left up the Mulsanne straight from about 10am onwards people are just parked up and chilling out (watch out for SPEED camera's). You might also want to head up to St Saturnin in the North of town, The Great British Welcome is held in the local comunity centre, many classics gather and stop on route, worth going, then town in the evenening - although found the Parade to be very long and drawn out, Arnage town is better imo in the eveneing, great atmosphere, Houx roundebout for burnout action unless the CRS decide to clamp down as they have out side MB and Blue camping.
Good move you'll have a blast and have to go earlier every year now!
