How will we keep the beer cold this year????

Staying on the Houx so we will have power but no room in the car for a fridge!

Last year we had the luxury of travelling in a group with a support vehicle, but not this year!

How about a collapsible refridgerated cooler bag with power supply, is there such a thing?

just do what everyone else does. Straight up the supermarket, buy crates of beer, buy 1 dustbin. Fill said dustbin with water from campsite, throw beers into dustbin. If really hot again this year cover bin in solver foil. Taaaa daaa.

and dont be such a ponce.

When you say there isn't space in the car...

The electrical place in Centre Sud sells (or sold last year) a fridge for something like E150. If you don't have anything else in the car can you fit one in (and just leave it behind on Monday ^_^)

Don't, They're crap. They only cool down the ambient air by a couple of degrees. So the one we bought last year made no difference whatsoever. Waste of money until we went back to the shop, bought six bags of frozen chips, and chilled them that way. Cold beer yummy, taste of chips on the can, you'll get over it .

Some previous campers had dug a pit near where we pitched out tent... Couple of bin liners, water, free ice from supermarket.

Kept cold using polystyrene and damp towels. Ice would last a full day and beer/wine was cold.

Slightly dangerous at 4am when pissed.

Treat yourself to a pool from Carrefour and fill that up, put in in the shade somewhere and fill it once a day or so and you'll be sorted.

A little tiddler will keep your feet, where-as if you spent E100 then you'll be able to swim and submerse yourself in it.

I strongly suggest you enforce a no p!$$!ng rule though!

Absolute life-save last year although the temp differential after it'd 1st been filled was testicle-shrinking.

Deffo no peeing in the pool, also enforce this rule round the back of the tent... not pleasent being woken at 5am whith someon taking a long slash 2 feet from your head... violence almost ensued.

Although WGOTSOT, there were some lightweights and some who, shall we say, rather brought up the average. [pun intended on 'brought up' ]
