Pistonheads Convoy TO LM?

I just thought about posting this now, as V15BEN and i are gonna pick out a ferry to go to LM on tomorrow, so i was just wondering which the most popular choices were on the thursday, and if anyone wanted/is going down in a convoy that we could join in on?


I know that i posted asking which ferry people were going on but I was just wondering if anyone had much a convoy sorted, not sure which ferry we will be on but was thinking thursday morning sometime.

speed ferries 7am thursday morning seems to be popular see thread speed ferries, we are on that cerb and jag ( we have a convoy going on wednesday BB, Johno etc)I will tag along with someone too.

we're on speedferries thursday night, find a place to stay then hoon off early friday morning.. (before it gets to hot and the combination of black car, busted aircon and V12 engine reduce me to a puddle in the footwell!!)

Quite a few on the 7am ferry, (see the sticky post at the top of the page) also few of us on the 7ish chunnel aswell, then all meeting on the otherside!! You are more than welcome to join up.

Sounds like a good crack to me, a nice convoy down there would be great! Last year's one car Micra convoy was never going to work

Erm, I would probably prefer to do it in the morning. Should only be 4 hour drive if that, but then again maybe it is a good idea. Haven't thought about it yet. Will have to consult with V15BEN

A morning drive to Dover should be the answer for us I think as it's not that far down south. We drove down the day before last time but that was only so I could stay with a friend overnight in Dover. Thursday early start and on the 10am ferry to Dunkerque. Result!
