I am sure we can all remember the weeks and weeks of topics on here last year with some truths and some myths about speeding in France.
I must admit i drove a little more carefully last year but a few in the convoy did some stuntman work on the N138 and nobody i heard of got more than a 90euro slap..any1 get anything else??

I got €90 on the N138 coming home on Monday lunchtime.
Had to drive miles into a little village to get the cash while the police waited with my documents.
The hardest point was that none of them spoken any English (understandable I suppose) but luckily while I was trying to work out what I had to do a helpful Brit must have senced my need and also got himself pulled, joining me with some more police - who spoke English!
Not bad for 218kph I thought

It's inevitable. You'll also go through various speed cameras, but as long as you don't stop for a chat with les gendarmes, where's the harm!
yeah, i just have to hope, that somebody doesnt obstruct or change my numberplate somehow, like with tape
