Where is the best place to drink lots of cold beers and look for Bugatti veyron or zonda but without going to the track?

As well as parking up at along the Mulsane, Indianapolis and Arnage village, head up to St Saturnin (to the North of LM) for the Great British Welcome, always good.

No, but Arnage village is another good location on Friday afternoon for lunch & car spotting.

The link refers to the Indianapolis and Arnage corners which is part of the circuit open on the Friday still, very easy to find. Where are you staying ?

Our plan so far is to stay about 40km outside of Le mans on Thur (Only accomdation booked, and then car watch on the Fri. We have no tickets for the race or fri night. We are mainly coming down to see the exotic collection of cars then off on to some driving roads etc. But any recommendations on Fri night parking or other hints would be most welcome.

If you're driving in then you are obviously planning on driving down the Mulsanne straight right ? Keep following the circuit round until you see all the cars parked on the verges at Indianapolis.

There's always plenty of decent cars in the village square in the village of Chartre sur le loir on the Friday.

Arnage corner and that part of the track Friday morning then the village for the evening action (or Houx Annexe roundabout for some more entertaining action!)
Just try driving round the general area near the circuit during the day and you will see all sorts of great cars

Find another map, its about 40k southeast of Le Mans. Alot of the drivers used to stay in the Hotel de France many years ago.

I didn't know that was a hot spot. Do you mean in the days leading up to the race?
