We watched the England v France game in Cafe du Tertre Rouge in 2004, maybe use the same venue for the 15-Jun-06 at Nuremberg ENG v TRINIDAD and TOBAGO 18:00 if they are showing it .

Any better venues ????? We're taking Sky with us just in case

Yeah, the Tetre Rouge cafe was great in 2004, you can book a table if you arrive early enough aswell!

Other options include, paying for speed chills memebership- www.speedchills.com/lm2006.htm

although they have 'temporarily' run out of tickets.

I remeber hearing that the Caterham club had a big screen one year that they charged for and gave proceeds to charity.

Assuming you mean the Stella bar, I have a feeling that its been flattened as part of the ongoing tram network and new stadium....

I will definitely be watching it though not sure where... a PH meet could be in order though

I still think it is unfair having two teams against one... why do we have to play Trinidad and Tobago at the same time

The bar at the corner of the main street through Arnage was excellent for the England France game last time, well it was if you were English

Watched the England vs France game in 2004 in Mulligans, an irish theme pub in Le Mans town centre, not far from McDonalds (that's the fast food outlet and not a Scottish themed pub!!). Was superb, half the pub was French, the other English. No bad attitudes apart from one English lout slagging off some French people in there but the result soon shut him up!!

Without a doubt the best international match for atmosphere I've ever experienced!! Actually remember a friend texting me from New York, who was watching the match in an Irish themed pub over there!!!

We bought a 32" TV between 30 of us for the Freance game in 2004, ran it off our generator, then left it for the gypo's... Will be doing the same again in the middle of the Houx...

Anyone know if the World Cup games are being shown on French terrestrial telly? We’ll have power but no satellite dish. Was hoping to pick up some of the footy through a standard aerial.

You will not be able to watch french tv on an english tv as its a different signal we are pal and they are secam I believe

Better off getting a used dish/receiver off ebay and taking it with you

Thats what we are doing

We'll be pitching our camp as close as possible to them on the Wednesday for precisely this reason
