Just wondering if any other Pistonheaders have started packing for the main "event" already.
Tent and camping stuff and other Le-Mans items already packed in the boot, I think apart from food/clothes everything will be ready by the end of the weekend. I find packing early makes the build up more fun and the all to short weekend feel a little longer! Yes..I admit it,s a bit sad Just got to make ture I ahve my self and car ID,d with the Pertolhead Logo,s!

I am taking my car back to the UK next weekend for a service and then picking it up the Wednesday before Le Mans and driving it straight to the race. So I will be packing all the camping equipment next weekend and leaving it in the car whilst it’s being serviced. Saves having to take the camping gear on the plane when I fly back to pick the car up.

I did that on Tuesday night, on the green next to my house. The neighbours kept stopping and asking why there is an 8 man tent there. I said the pikeys had moved in

How come it will take a month to service the 360? Are there lots of things wrong with it?

Where abouts are you camping?

No, but I need to write a list of camping things we need after testing out the camping thang at Pistonfest.

Thing is what do you pack for? I have heard its hot in the day, cold at night, so you have to pack for both scenrios taking up room in the car, bad thing if we take the MX5

Blimey, we've still got FIA GT's, Spa LMS and World Touring Cars and the BGP between now and Le Mans....I'll be packing on the Saturday night after leaving the GP meeting before heading off to Dover at 6am the next morning!

I figure that by packing early and keeping on throwing items into the boot as I remember I should end up at Le-Mans with everything to make the weekend perfect. Were a bit limited on space so will be buying beer/booze at LeMans supermarket as usual (good prices) and picking up BBQ supplies and french bread...yum yum!
Got number plates docs from DVLA today to keep things nice and legal!

Can't start packing as the f@@king car is still being worked on! Knew the Westfield might not be the most reliable car, but to fall apart the week before a trackday and still not be ready three weeks later is not tennis!
